Promotion!

In April I had applied for a promotion. And I have received the news: I have been granted it. I am now a 'Lecturer 2'. And that earns you more money! Starting in August, so pretty soon. I shall now find out how I can overpay on my mortgage. And I should phone the painter. If I can't work part-time but do get a raise I am not going to paint the last unpainted rooms of my house (the kitchen and the upstairs bedroom) myself. I'll throw money at that and go for a hike myself!
