Rest in peace Peas

I had only met him in November 2021! But he had made quite an impression. I was visiting Sue and Dean for the first time, an notorious grump Peas let me scratch his head and stick my nose into his fur. I had an instant crush.

It is only seven months later and now he isn't with us anymore! The news came like a thunderbolt from a clear sky. He had been a bit ill, had been taken to the vet, and there he had been diagnosed with something so bad they had decided to just send him off to sleep, never to return. Poor old Peas! And poor old Susan. She really really loved that cat. There must be a big grumpy cat-shaped hole in her life now. And I will miss him too…

Goodbye dear Peas
