I had hoped we would finally do the PDRs in summer! But that season came and went, and there were no PDRs. Eventually, they would take place in November. And given that I get to have both John and Dei, it is much harder to book than if you only have John. And I ended up even in late November.
It was on the Thursday afternoon of a busy week! By the time it came around I was knackered. I suppose it might have made me more relaxed.
Most things are okay. But I did bring up the topic of one of my modules I don't like. I would love to split it in two, reorganise my half, and give the other half away. And the school isn't keen on half-sized modules. But one can dream!
We had already talked about the dissertation module earlier in the week. And we talked about my RSI. And about the teaching in my and Dei’s field in general. And decided maybe we should all sit together and discuss if maybe we can coordinate things better, because it seems that it was a while ago anyone actually had a good look at that.
I thought it went well! These PDRs are getting better. But it would still be even better if they would take place in between the academic years, and in the middle of them…
