Club top

Eryri Harriers race in Eryri Harriers tops! I had become a member, but didn't have a top yet. I had already run two races since becoming a member, although I hadn't entered them as a club runner. But I wanted to express my membership, so I had already contacted the manufacturer to ask if they had any in stock. And they only had XS they said; I didn't think I would fit that. But they would get stock soon. They also said I could come and try it on; they figured that if I was an Eryri Harrier, I probably lived local. I then quickly googled where they were based, and found out I had actually biked past the shop on the way to the race in Pentir. I had no idea! But that meant that I could just reroute my commute a bit and show up, on bike, in person.

On a Tuesday morning I did indeed bike to the farm where the shop is. The detour was actually quite beautiful. When I got there I tried on the S, and it fit. Success! Later that day I saw a race announced I hadn't been aware of yet. That was tempting. I could even run it in club kit now. Of course I succumbed! From now on I can run in style...
