Making the best of an awkward lunch

Sometimes I am lecturing on campus at noon. Normally I eat around noon, but I can't then, of course. But what I have been doing a few times now, when it was nice weather, was just pack my lunch, bike in the direction of Bangor, and when I realise I have enough time, then just get off my bike somewhere where it is beautiful, and have some sandwiches there. It's quite nice, actually! It being late November I haven't actually had lunch in the garden in a fair while. And there is plenty of beauty between my house and campus!

Using the Penrhyn Quarry harbour as a venue for a sunny pre-teaching lunch
